Angela is interested in the human and socio-economic aspects that affect nature conservation. Her research focused on human social networks and their role in the effectiveness of conservation actions. In particular, her research looked at how webs of human relationships could be utilized for dealing with multi-scalar conservation issues. She is also interested in the links between human and ecological systems, and how they should be accounted for in environmental decision making.
